Books

Summer Rain (2000)
My first book, about a kid in the Midwest, stuck in a big college town that's gone dormant for the summer. This was also re-released in 2004 with a new cover and another editorial pass, in an economy-sized layout, and in 2006, a hardcover edition was released.

Rumored to Exist (2002)
A surreal and strange journey through the life of a man trying to figure out the meaning to it all, or at least how to pay his six-figure phone bill.

Tell Me a Story About the Devil (2003)
Collected journals from my days in Seattle, leading up to my move to New York.

The Annotated Rumored to Exist (2004)
People wondered where all of the strange references in Rumored came from, so here's a completely footnoted version, with a new introduction.

Dealer Wins (2004)
Essays and articles about Sin City, documenting my many visits to Las Vegas.

The Necrokonicon (2006)
A glossary of arcane terms and forgotten names from my life. Read this fully-hypertextual A to Z about college town freaks, computer geeks, and strange things from the Midwest you never hear about elsewhere.

Places I've Been (2006)
This is a collection of travel photos from over the years. It includes Amsterdam, Alaska, Berlin, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and my home of New York City. I don't profess to be a great photographer, but I think there are some good shots in here, and it was a lot of fun turning them into a book on Blurb.com.

Other Books

I've been in a couple of others' collections, too:

Santi - The Lives of Modern Saints - I contributed the story "Jesus 2000".

Down the Block - I contributed the journal entry/story "July 4, 2003".

Zines and Blogs

ProgSlob.com - A prog-rock and progressive metal blog.

Air in the Paragraph Line - A literary journal of absurdist, outsider, and personal fiction.

Zine writing - A partial collection of various zine and small journal writing from the past.

I don't give out the email addresses to anyone, and they aren't available online to anyone, human or robot. Thank you in advance for subscribing!

Also, these books are free as in beer, for those of you hip to how the free software thing works. And all of the books are copyrighted, and with a real copyright, not a Sears copyright like the one Cory Doctorow gushes about in every single issue of Wired. Don't be a douche and redistribute these files with your name on them, or modify them, or hammer my server by downloading megs of stuff over and over, or anything else like that. I'm trying to do something nice here, so don't piss on it.
